Cykelmageren is a little bike shop in the city of Nørrebro in Copenhagen, Denmark which was founded in 1994 by Rasmus Gjesing. These entirely handmade beauties each have a significant amount of detail put into them that is respective of Gjesing’s background as a bike mechanic from the ’80s.
His creations come mainly from a time when cycling had just begun to be considered a craft. Couple that with a sense of sustainability and function, and you’ll see that Cykelmageren creates some amazingly crafted bicycles that any serious enthusiast would fully appreciate. In 1999, Gjesing moved the production of Bicycle Mage’s showroom to a store in Kongensgade in order to accommodate the drive in sales, and has now opened Bicycle Mage’s production which is located in Rådmandsgade, Copenhagen.
