Women from North Korea can finally enjoy bicycle riding!
Back in the 1990s Kim Jong-il prohibited women and girls to have such a pleasure. They say the reason was death of some general's daughter who was cycling and driven into by some car in the centre of Pyongyang.
In fact women of North Korea have been getting other liberties lately: they were allowed to wear jeans, high heels and earrings.
Bicycles are still very very rare in the country. But why do people have to depend that much on the private life of the leader?
